The issue is timing - there's no way I can fit in another workshop this summer and all the people at Tech are facilitating those, too. The earliest I could get your way is September-October. All my work to date has been with educators; workshops are held with middle and high school teachers. Maybe we could do an initial workshop with a small group, say six to eight people, some of whom could then become facilitators for a full-blown workshop with twenty people? I'd really dig coming your way and doing the educator workshop...

OSE Build - July 21-24, 2014

From Edo - Cannot do a workshop. It's too early. There are still glitches and you need to be a Michigan Tech to work them out. Also, we did a 80% built, with the saultering, printing of parts, and organization of all necessary parts ready for us.

The machine Is great. Fairly easy to assemble. Documentation is excellent - very few questions arose during the built. Straightforward design. A few issues with the default settings in the firmware, but nothing that they couldn't resolve. They even made it work on a Mac, which took forever.

Calibrating is a little complicated and takes a few hours. It doesnt have the traditional xy axis, so its a little counterintuitive.

Will demonstrate the printer in person on Sunday or Monday. I am driving back tomorrow after the workshop and will arrive late at night... but then i need to leave Friday morning and will be back Sunday evening.

I have pics and videos and MTU is actually working on uploading a video for each module as well.
