There's a 50/50 chance that I have a lot of time to commit to building a web based community in Drupal.

Some notes about me:

Physics background, now in web development for the last 2 years (more of the self-taught semi-pro Linux, php programmer end but please find my attempt at self-taught graphic design in the attachments). Was lurking the web for some grand visions for internet and wireless enabled arduinos with sensors and actuators (because of an interest in http://pachube.org) as well as trying to find anything I could about open source manufacturing and CNC XYZ tables before I found FeF/OSE.

Things I bring to the table:

-I can implement Drupal websites. I've never helped build a real web community in Drupal yet and http://RepLab.org looks perfect. -Strong interest in visiting FeF at some point if that can be found to be of mutual benefit.

I'm interested in hearing what you'd like for the back end / information architecture / site specs for http://RepLab.org if the sky were the limit. Feel free to be as detailed or vague as you'd like and really go wild. Not everything is possible but it's surprising what Drupal can be made to do.

Even if I get pulled away and can't advance the project past some point, it may be that work I do may serve as the basis for the next attempt or that I can return to it later.

Let me know what you think.

Cheers, Nick Person
