Hi Audrey,

I am interested in design & development work and I would like to learn more about the needs of FeF regarding remote collaborators specializing in 2D graphics. I have graphic design skills and have created technical illustrations both manually (drafting) and on a computer (adobe illustrator is my specialty, I also do some work with photoshop).

I don't yet have a time-frame planned for my trip. I will likely be starting grad school this upcoming Spring, so in this case, it would be in the month of May. I'm not really sure the duration I would stay, at this point. I would say in the range of 1 week to 1 month initially.

As I mentioned, I am interested in documenting appropriate technology projects and figuring out concepts in physics, chemistry and engineering that are associated with each project. I would later turn this into an educational web-animation project.

First though, I would start off with some basic journalism work: writing articles and filming short films and interviews. This would be the intention of my trip. Through this process, I would build my knowledge on appropriate technology, and also establish connections with people who are interested in collaborating in the educational project I am researching for.

In the mean time though, I was curious if I might be able to assist FeF with their graphic design or technical 2D graphic needs.
