US Standards

2010 ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, Section IV: Heating Boilers, Includes 2011 Addenda Reprint American Society of Mechanical Engineers / 01-Jul-2010 / 302 pages ISBN: 9780791832479. See table of contents. [1]

There are a lot of references to this document but I can't seem to find any details of what is in here without paying $500. If anyone has access to a university library it might be there.

It is sounding like pressurized pipes or tanks above 15psi require periodic inspection from government inspectors. A 15 psi design would be optimal to avoid regulations.
