Materials

Aluminum Plate 1/4" x 12" x 36"

Aluminum Bar 1/2" x 3" x 72"

Pure Tan Gum Rubber 1/8" x 12" x 24"

HDPE Plate 1/4" x 12" x 24"

Steps

Overall case dimensions: 3.5" H x 12" W x 18"

Cut plate in half for two 18" lengths

Cut bar to two 18" lengths and two 11" lengths

Organize the materials

Cut the aluminum plate to 14" x2 lengths. Cut the bar to 13" x2 and 12" x2 lengths. Cut the rubber to 0.5" length. Cut the plastic plate to 13" length by 10.5" width (make it smaller than bigger)

Position, tack weld, and weld the bars onto the aluminum plate to form an open aluminum box.

Drill the bars to make holes for cables and wires.

Position and bend the rubber inside the case. Then, move one side of the plastic plate into the rubber, then press down the other end of the plastic plate in order to mount the plastic plate inside the box.
