Combination of mechanisms (underlying physical phenomena) and algorithms (underlying information phenomena). Here we explain architectures and power flows, quantitatively and with mechalisms.

Some mechalisms may include understanding how devices work, and how processes work by understanding underlying algorithms. This applies to understanding and innovating on the design of artifacts and systems - including both physical and information processes. Devices include mechanical, electronic, biological, ecological, optical, acoustic, other wave-based devices, and others. Systems include education, governance, finance, spiritual, regulatory, legal, and other human systems.

Including the dark side - how all of these are corrupted and how corruption works so we can recognize it when we see it.
