Visual Inventory Sheets

These sheets were used for people picking their own parts during the workshop, from containers separated by modules:

Unpacking

It took 10 hours to unpack 12 Folgertech Kits:

  1. Separate bolts by size
  2. Separate every part by one of 10 Modules as at Prusa i3 Build Optimization

Further Prep

  1. Put set screws into L brackets (24 set screws per machine)
  2. Separate aluminum beams and unwrap, then tape together into a bunch
  3. Take bags off all aluminum bushing blocks
  4. Put on jumpers onto controller boards
  5. Put on stepper drivers onto controllers
  6. Bend up the transistors on stepper drivers
  7. Take backing off all plexiglas
  8. Wiring bundle - separate wires
  9. One pair of 22 ga thin wires goes to extruder
  10. Long piece of 16 ga wires goes to heated bed box
  11. 2 pairs of 7" 16 ga wire go to power supply
  12. Female end of power plug is cut
  13. Strip 2" off power plug end, strip off 2 cm off individual wires

Final Prep

  1. Upload control code to controller
  2. Create Live Linux USBs
  3. Prepare Inventory Cheat Sheets for workshop
  4. Solder the height probe diode and tin wire ends
  5. Prepare aluminum plates
