Evolution Opportunity Cost

The cost of Agency Problem enterprises wherein profit is substituted for continuing evolution. This cost makes such companies non-competitive in thearketplace in the long run. This is a case for Distributive Enterprise.

Simply put, profit for the few means that the source of that profit is cannibalized over time. That time depends on how much the enterprise is subsidized, protected via monopoly, active on an uneven playing field, etc.
