WHY are you motivated to support/develop this work?

One man gives generously, yet gains even more;

another withholds unduly, and loses all he has.

~King Solomon

Why are you interested in collaborating with us?

I want to see the GVCS take off.

I want to implement it for my own community,

and I want to use it in the context of christian missions.

How do you think that the GVCS can address pressing world issues?

Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day.

Give a man a GVCS, and you empower him to build & run the infrastructure of a tiny first-world country.

What should happen so that you become more involved with the project?

I'm currently being introduced to the resource development team;

I think I'm on the right track for now.

What is missing in the project?

I'm not sure how the GVCS will account for computers (hardware needed for running the CNC machine).

Other than that, I can't see much missing (besides the obvious things all start-ups lack).

What are your suggestions for improvement of the project?

None currently.

WHAT are your skills?

Writing/Research: grant research, grant writing (foundation & federal)

Finances: basic accounting

Construction: basic construction, basic automotive repair

How have you already contributed to the project?

increased public awareness among friends & relatives

HOW can you help?

How are you interested in contributing to the work of GVCS development?

I'm not sure. I can start out using my grant research/writing skills.

Can you volunteer to work with us, and if so, how many hours per week?

Yes--TBD. Maybe 10ish hours/week to start.

Are you interested in working with us for pay? If so, what services can you offer, and what is your hourly or per-project rate?

My grant writing pay has usually been 3-7% commission, depending on the size of the grant.

Are you interested in a Dedicated Project Visit?

Yes; I'd love to be trained in producing and dogfooding the products. I want to implement the GVCS for myself & my local community, and this seems like a great way to learn how.

Are you interested in purchasing equipment from us to help bootstrap development?

Yes; I don't have the land to use such tools right now, though.

Are you interested in bidding for consulting/design/prototyping work?

No.

Are you a True Fan? If not, why not?

No; I haven't worked it into my budget yet.

Would you like to see yourself working with us on a full-time basis?

TBD

Are you interested in being part of the world's first, open source, resilient community? The GVCS is the preparatory step for the OSE Village Experiment – a 2 year, immersion experiment (2013-2014) for testing whether a real, thriving, modern-day prototype community of 200 people can be built on 200 acres using local resources and open access to information? We are looking for approximately 200 people to fill a diverse array of roles, according to the Social Contract that is being developed. This may be the boldest social experiment on earth - a pioneering community whose goal is to extend the index of possibilities regarding harmonious existence of humans, ecology, and technology.

Probably not. I'm already seriously invested in my local community, and am looking to do something similar with them.
