Tasks

For tasks I use

Media

Upload videos to YouTube with:

Record the video with Android phone (e.g. Galaxy S2)

  • If only one small video:
    • upload it with the standard YouTube uploader app
    • https://www.youtube.com/nikolayhg
    • Comments: uploads from the phone take more time than from my computer and I have to resume them often (requires longer time + manual input from me).
      • Option 1: find a way to upload to youtube without failures. (isn't researched yet, I need help here)
      • Option 2: transfer the video on computer and upload from there. (to be tested for efficiency) Good side - multiple videos upload is possible, no worry for discharged battery.
  • If multiple videos or one big video was recorded:
    • Copy the videos to laptop
    • Compress with Free Video Converter using the Youtube HD Conversion method (File size is reduced about 4 times).
    • Upload to YouTube from the laptop. You can add multiple files in the upload queue, set their names and description and leave them for upload one after another.
    • This saves much more time for upload HD videos!
      • Tips:
        • File Names: words make it easier to identify a video than just the date. You can either rename the videos on your Smartphone or set names when they are copied on the computer.
        • On the way: You can save time by preparing the videos while you are on the way after filming: copy, name and compress the videos to be ready for upload.
