OSE Transformation

From Open Source Ecology
Jump to: navigation, search

OSE is interested in creating the Open Source Economy. This includes a transition of education to applied, interdisciplinary learning, as well as the transition to a peacetime economy. Lifecycle stewardship includes balancing of natural resource use with our natural life support system to establish stable populations and thus avoid a population explosion. Transition of industry to collaborative development can be obtained by selecting individual >$1B industries and converting them to Distributive Enterprise in the form of family enterprise, open source microfactories.

Goals

Single simple goal. Fix material security. The long version is our Mission.

Steps

Some of the steps in this transition include:

  1. Developing a bootstrapped open source Extreme Enterprise that can fund OSE developers
  2. Create Village Campuses that focus on R&D for solving pressing world issues
  3. Starting Extreme Design Incentive Challenges to transform the economy on an industry-by-industry basis, towards open source Distributed Market Substitution via the creation of Distributive Enterprise with Lifecycle Stewardship.
  4. Starting the Open Source Everything Store based on Open Source Product Development
  5. Starting elementary and high school level OSE Clubs and Coopetitions to provide a solving-pressing-world-issues direction to existing robotics competitions
  6. Starting OSE-based schools via an independent school movement to inculcate global, open source hacker ethics into student mindsets
  7. Create autonomous village states worldwide
  8. Provide parallel, distributed alternatives to megacentalized organizations such as Amazon, FB, Google.

OSE is interested in creating the Open Source Economy. This includes a transition of education to applied, interdisciplinary learning, as well as the transition to a peacetime economy. Lifecycle stewardship includes balancing of natural resource use with our natural life support systems to establish regenerative development. Transition of industry to collaborative development can be obtained by selecting individual >$1B industries and converting them to Distributive Enterprise in the form of open source microfactories as small family businesses. Such a foundation based on the Efficiency of Open Source can provide ample surplus to feed cultural and scientific advancement.

USA Case

For USA transforation, the biggest one is the red-blue political divide. First, the generalizations which likely piss nobody off:

  1. Reform welfare - replace it with uleashed learning and productivity of open source economics
  2. Reform the military - open source transnational army based on creation and not destruction., taking off where the UN, NATO, and others have failed
  3. Reform Security with Productivity, whether social security or material security.
  4. Civil rights - voluntary participation, in fractional represenation. Those who want certain laws subscribe to those, and those who like others subscribe to different laws. You choose, but terms and conditions of each are binding
  5. K-PhD - replace it with rapid, integrated, lifelong learning
  6. Jobs- set your own pay. Choose and Learn the skills you need, get paid accordingly - as your own boss or working with others.
  7. Confederacy vs other - choose where you want to live, move there, with its diverse governance systems
  8. War on X - deregulate X
  9. Resentment - build self-esteem, engage in psycho-social growth and integration like in Radical Man
  10. Religion vs heathens - choose your religion, but don't choose for others
  11. Abortion, rights, and more - choose which you want to do, don't force others
  12. Unions - train for entrepreneurial mindsets, level the playing field with open source economic development
  13. Minimum wage - access to education so you can set your own pay, in a manageable time frame and cost
  14. Segregate - integrate, don't silo - from education to class
  15. Federal interference - collaboration of local and global, ideally with open source microfactories and global collaborative design - for local distributed power with a more agile system of global governance. Politics follows the economy, so to get decentralized governance, we need Decent production
  16. Lies and post-truth - this one is simple: truth.
