Open Market Economies

'Open markets' are not open and collaborative, though they make this claim. The distinction that open source ecology makes is that open collaboration means public generation of knowledge, of product design, and of enterprise models. The key point is open source ecology's on true distribution of wealth, thereby solving the shortcoming of capitalism. The current shortcomings of capitalism are primarily distribution. OSE proposes that distribution will likewise solve the environmental and social issues of capitalism, as distributed economies are closer to the underlying natural resources. Therefore, a distributed system has closer feedback loops to the natural resources. Ie, you don't shit in your own backyard, and not in someone else's either. You have to become responsible in the open, collaborative economy.

The above in the largest elephant in the room of free enterprise.
