Registration

Registration for an extreme manufacturing workshop involves paying for a specific event. Registration software such as Eventbrite can be used, but it would also be useful to use an open source alternative.

Eventbrite charges 2.5% (or 2% for nonprofits) + 3% credit card fees. For a $10k event, that would be $250+ just for the Eventbrite fees. Cafe Espresso [1] is a minimum of $70.

If we talk about scaling, it makes sense to develop an open source version. This also makes sense from the transparency perspective, so your event software does not snoop.
