Richard Staniewicz

I recently saw Marcin’s speech at the TED conference and it made me want to become involved in your organization in some way. The idea of creating something with the intent of making it available to anyone who needs it is something that I think is becoming more and more popular as the technology to create things at home, such as 3D printers, becomes more readily available. OSE is taking that so much further with the GVCS.

I grew up in my father’s wood shop helping him make custom cabinets for kitchens and bathrooms and I was, until just recently, attending an art school for 3D art and animation. I have an interesting combination of an artistic, creative, and technical background that I feel would really fit in well with what OSE is doing. I currently live in Seattle, WA so I am definitely not local but if there is anything I can do from here and if there is any room on your team, I would love to become part of what you are trying to accomplish.
