Identity of the Parties

This contract is made between ________________ (school or university entity), COLLABORATOR from hereon and represented by ___________________ , and Open Source Ecology, Inc. (OSE from hereon), represented by Marcin Jakubowski, Ph.D.. The authorized agent for negotiation and fulfillment of this contract shall be Marcin Jakubowski, and _______________________ (representative of COLLABORATOR).

Space Requirements

  1. Working tables are required, with a minimum space of 16 square feet per build team so that materials and tools can be laid out comfortably.
  2. Kits are self-contained so that they include small hand tools and supplies such as allen wrenches or hacksaw, as required for the builds. The main assembly tools is a 5 mm Allen wrench
  3. Cordless drills, vise grips, pliers, a vise, and other basic shop equipment is nice-to-have, but not necessary. A cordless drill saves about 15-30 minutes in assembly time, roughly, for those who can use one effectively.
  4. Welders, drill presses, or other heavy machines are not needed.

Ancillary Materials

  1. Due to shipping weight, we request that the collaborating school source 2x12 lumber (for the base of the 3D printer) prior to the event and cut it to 12.5" length for workshop participants. If this is not possible, OSE we will secure this lumber in a location nearest the workshop venue once OSE arrives .
