Hi Audrey, I filled in your form for volunteering with OSE, downloaded FreeCAD and watched a little of the lasersaur work a few weekends ago, but would like to get myself organized/started as a volunteer over the holidays. I have also explored some of the project schedules and spreadsheets.

What do you need? I really am a tech writer (my background is mostly software doc and engineering articles) - that is, I have not touched CAD anything for a long, long time, though I am looking forward to that exploration. Is it more useful to learn that, or is there a project with more words where I could help?

I also have a neighbor who is part of Farmstart, and am talking to them later on - probably they are already part of your community, but if they want to do a test build of something, do you track such things as well?
