Dear Stark Bro's,

My name is Marcin Jakubowski and I'm the executive director of Open Source Ecology (OSE), a 501(c)3 non-profit organization headquartered in Maysville, MO. We develop open source machinery and provide educational programs on a wide range of topics, from house and tool building to agriculture. We are building the Global Village Construction Set - please see my TED Talk. This year we are planning to focus the Spring/Summer season on agriculture and currently have a series of plantouts and other related workshops scheduled between May and September.

In this context, we were wondering if you would consider donating unsold fruit trees and shrubs appropriate for hardiness zone 5a (apple, peach, pear, apricot, various berries, etc.)? A tax-deductible donation of fruit plants would not only allow us to teach our students and volunteers how to plant and care for an orchard, but would also provide them with a source of food in the coming years. We would also like to thank you for your past donation from 6 years ago.

Best—

Marcin Jakubowski
