Talk:Tim Snyder

More books for my "to-read" list. On Tyranny On Freedom , pretty much everything outside of some of the history ones, although from the bit of digging it seems they are fine (which Tim Snyder seems to articulate VERY well for recent issues) if read with a critical lens. Unlike political thought history is all odd in that you can't really make a narrative without leaving stuff out / the whole Superobject nature of history, and the scope one can manage for a book etc. So when you get into hard numbers / scope it gets rough. Even then though good "food for thought" and the discussion / lectures about the book by other experts/historians may teach more as well.

Anywho this just lead me on a wikipedia binge and my brain is a bit fried. Also reading up on atrocities like Katyn Massacre and all that tends to not put me in the most productive mood. (Still important to read!, just does not lend well to productivity at least for me)
