Basics
- This page goes over how you go from "generic turbine" to each speciality, each with "optima" efficency
Turbojet
- Optimise for thrust, mass, and size
Turbofan
- Same as turbojet, but extra compression and/or air diversion
Turboprop and/or Turboshaft
- This will be the main OSE investigation due to the lack of size and/or mass constraints
- Will be used as a Turbogenerator and/or in the Universal Burn Unit
- Optimize for power extracted
- Either by:
- Direct attach shaft
- "Free Shaft" (Similar to an exhaust turbocharger)

Phase 1
- Build simple hobby/lab scale device
Phase 2
- Tinker with and modify phase 1 for improvements + learning as you go along
Phase 3
- Dedicated engineer, software, and perhaps AI Design of blade geometry etc
- This is where the real "optimal efficiency" is obtained
