Rapid Learning, Incentive Challenges, Modular Breakdown, a Construction Set Approach, Topgrading, pursuit of the OSE Vision, and the Art of Possibility yield a unique, fundamentally-creative problem solving appraoch. How do we learn to use it? How do we apply it to any outstanding Pressing World Issue?

Method summary, for replicable operation:

  1. Topgrade, selecting for Supercooperators.
  2. Write a protocol for How to Topgrade - or how to find the best people. This includes a promo video, forum, upvote, FB.
  3. Practice! Engage the interested people.
  4. Do an event, strategically located, for a 3 day event.
  5. Absolute success guaranteed: people love to meet. And good work is to be done.
  6. Design for a Public Track and Subject Matter Expert track

At this juncture of 2022 pre-LOD 500 model - what could we do if we had unlimited resources? We'd get 100 architects and draftspeople around the table, and over one weekend, finish all the details in a Design Charette. People bring their own computers, and we do it all. Award people with the best house in the world - being part of a project to create history. Hold a hackathon in New York, Chicago, and LA. Get everyone involved. Goal - an LOD 500 model, with PV and landscaping, and a Design Guide to boot. Start of event with some inspiration. And we design a house for Ukraine and the World. Both stick and CEB are covered. Features an upvoting platform, Forum, Part Libraries. All you need to know is how to upload your file. If the file is too big, use DropBox.

Together with the model, we need a set of architectural detail - which will determine how other parts of the house are constructed - so that new versions of the house can be built. This would be a good thing to do - in terms of participation in Design Charettes. Can we involve the public? If they want to learn. There would be 2 tracks: architects and draftspeople, and the public. The draftspeople are motivated by the 'lowest cost housing' anywhere in the world.

In the meantime, if we had: an organizer, an architect, website guy, we could do it. Basically, a full time conference team. This all requires resources. But the value proposition is significant:

  1. Lowest cost, code-legal house in the world
  2. CEB and stick built
  3. Rebuild Ukraine theme
  4. Job training

The limit is skills. The lowest effort skill is the type of work we do - simple design guides and checklists, done through our community.

The methodologies available today are:

  1. Design challenges - about $25k reward, and equivalent for organizing it.
  2. Allied orgs + Design Charette - peoople who are doing it.
