My aim in spare time context is to make a home productive system of putting ideas to CAD systems, printing or milling complete machines, and letting them do their job.

The first project shall be a three part solar system:

  • concentrate energy with low-cost foil mirrors, stabilized with 3D printed frames giving an andjustable angle
(aluminum lamella rollo type: segmented and adjustable, reflecting on a vacuum insulated pipe collector line),

  • store energy in medium-temperature (up 400°C) sand based isolated tanks, and
  • convert energy to electricity with tesla turbine, using heat for household or technical purposes.

Efficiency in conversion to electricity is not the main goal, but would help to make the system wide-spread. Since most electrical machines in household that add heavily to the year's bill are heating water or the hearth, replacing this need with direct solar heating would reduce the bill dramatically. Eliminate the need to buy energy for heating of the house, warm drinking water, cooking, washing the laundry and drying it, and you are done. Even if you only reach 10% of conversion efficiency to electricity.

For this to work with low cost, machines have to be invented and printed out at home, to create vacuum isolated pipes and the tank for storing energy on-site.

They shall be small and autonomous to crawl inside walls to install needed piping, and to dig the storage tank insulation, using soil as medium.
