Charles Kurtz

Born - raised in the Pacific NW (USA), on the dry side. Degrees and training in anthro, public health, clinical and emergency medicine, administration, alternative energy, etc. Most of my professional life involved rural development and refugee relief work in SE Asia. Since retiring much of my time has been spent exploring the scientific thoughts and research of the late 1800s and early 1900s.

My interest in OSE is entirely due to Marcin's guiding philosophy on the development of the Power Cube: modularity and the use of a hydraulic interface between the prime mover and the load. It may not sound like much but it is the difference between someone who just has big dreams and some one who has dreams and perhaps a measure of competence as well.

Contributions to OSE will probably be limited to creating a few wiki pages under my user name, principally related to environmental energy extraction concepts. Other than that, as one of those abhorred generalists I don't have the engineering competence to contribute to actual development of the GVCS.
