Grew up in the Texas Lower Rio Grande Valley. Lived in south Texas all my live except for college in Sewanee, TN and graduate school in Berkeley, CA. Raised my family in Austin where I owned and operated a food catering and a construction company. Home un-schoolers and homesteading practioners. Divorced. Live in Houston where I sell "brake metal" (sheet metal formed into various construction pieces_) and heavy glass construction systems. Can't wait to implement my extensive eco-village and small community plans. Volunteer a great deal with a non-profit job readiness organization and a board member of a transitional living organization to benefit ex-offenders. Teach a man to catch a fish and he'll eat for life, teach a man to build a house and, well, that's my goal. Teach how to build and cook and how to create businesses doing so.
