Hi, I live in South Africa in the rural-farm Karoo area. I am a Fitter/Turner artisan, completed apprenticeship in early 80's. Worked as expat (artisan and management) in various part of the word. Love engineering and sculptural/architecture. At the moment i am a "student/artist" and do my own molds and bronze castings. New materials developments and technology in all areas fascinates me. The 3D printing development rate are really crazy and holds the future. Will build my own 3D printer soon...! Still "old school" artisan and want to learn CAD/CAM to use with CNC Router/Milling machine.
