We farm pantry items in Vermont (USDA zone 5a): popcorn, pop sorghum, dry beans, winter squash, maple syrup. We also grow seeds and medicinal herbs. We use antique processing tools: American Bean and Pea thresher (PTO belt powered), an old fanning mill (hand or 1/2hp motor) and a bean picker (leg power) that we're building out of the base of a treadle sewing machine. Tractors: Kubota MX100 and a 1948 Allis Chalmers G for cultivating. More than organic. http://madrugadafarm.com
