The following can be found on my website 'About Us' page (www.logicalinnovationsnetwork.com) which should provide sufficient information on my professional background:

Being a year 2000 graduate of the Electronics Engineering Technology program, has allowed Trevor Black to be a generalist when it comes to the engineering aspect of Electronics, but a specialist when it comes to the various technologies involved in the Field of Electronics. As a technologist, the aspect Mr. Black has chosen to professionalize himself in is circuit board design, otherwise known as PCB (Printed Circuit Board) Layout. PCB layout not being an aspect taught within the regular school curriculum at the Canadian College level, Trevor was given exclusive experience through the Summer Apprenticeship Program. In conjunction with his Academic Award, which was given to the student with the highest grade in the first year of the program, Mr. Black was therein employed part-time among the college professors as a student assistant. During this time, Trevor was asked to pioneer a well known EDA software called Protel98 by Altium, as the professors intended to re-design a classroom lab experimental board that was created by a prior student at St. Lawrence College several years earlier. It was during this time, that Trevor’s passion for circuit board creation was first ignited. Upon graduation, Mr. Black was hired on by a leading EDA software company called Mentor Graphics as an Application Engineer (a position that is usually offered to minimum university graduate Electronics Engineers only). Trevor Black was then employed as a PCB Layout Designer for a distinguished and well-established company called Vision Circuits, in which much more vital and valuable experience was gained. Next Mr. Black was contracted for a year by W.R. Davis Engineering, to prototype & assemble 4 MCU's (master control units) and 7 power cabinets for a segmented wave generator; used to test military equipment under ocean conditions. For a short time after that, Mr. Black designed schematic drawings and revised obsolete layouts for power supply and power & light converter circuits. Since then Trevor has worked with various companies, some related to electronics, others related to sales & management, all that have added additional value to a thoroughly-contemplated business model. Now as the founder and operator of a company in circuit board design, Mr. Black now seeks to expand his personal development through his technical research project seeking certification as a C.E.T. (Certified Engineering Technologist) with OACETT, and as a C.I.D. (Certified Interconnect Designer) with IPC.
