In 2008, my husband and I unplugged from Western Industrial Civilization after working in South Florida for over 15 years, as a financial accountant and spouse as a systems engineer and security integrator.

We relocated to the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, North Carolina for a year where we lived and worked with founder Paul Galimore (author of "Healing Appalachia") at the Long Branch Environmental Education Center (LBEEC) as community volunteers on a over 1,500 acre model permaculture settlement (inspired by Gary Snyder).

In recent years, we have lived and worked in the Western Ghats of South India and by the end of 2017 we are moving there permanently to pursue our vision of creating a healing space, simple living and forest landscape restoration ecology.
