Collaborative Production Runs

Collaborative production runs consist of multiple people working on a common project to be completed during a relatively short period of time, ex. days.

Different tools do different things. It's important to have the right tools prepared, and have enough commonly used tools so that multiple people can be using them at the same time. This is especially critical for safety equipment.

Enough labels/signs, pre-production presentations/discussions, and during-production communication should provide people the right information to safely and easily navigate to and use the workshop tools for the project.

When lots of people are moving around in the same area, pathways get too crowded for people and hazards get to hurt people. Eliminate trip hazards, electrocution hazards, puncture hazards, respiratory hazards, sound hazards, sight hazards, touch hazards, ingestion hazards, cut hazards, confusion hazards, ...

Make pathways clear of stuff and wide enough for the number of people and the amount of moving around the run will need.

Make tools (especially the first aid kit) easily visible, clearly labeled, and/or intuitively sign'd.
